Flight attendant on Delta flight broke wine bottle over man’s head, FBI agent says

A bottle broken on his head did not faze a male who lunged for an exit door and combated with other travelers on a global Delta Air Lines flight to Beijing, the FBI stated.

Authorities stated Joseph Daniel Hudek IV, 23, of Tampa, Florida required a Seattle to Beijing flight to go back to Seattle-Tacoma International Airport on Thursday when he aimed to open an exit door prior to entering into a scuffle with flight attendants and other travelers.

FBI unique representative Caryn Highley stated in a possible cause declaration on Friday that throughout the disruption, Hudek punched one flight attendant two times in the face and struck a minimum of one guest in the head with a red dessert wine bottle. As the battle continued, a flight attendant got 2 bottle and struck Hudek over the head with each breaking a minimum of among them.

According to one flight attendant, “Hudek did not appear affected by the breaking of a complete liter red wine bottle over his head, and rather yelled, ‘Do you understand who I am?’ or something to that degree,” the problem stated.
